AirSource® Technology Pioneering air purification
engineered for every
indoor environment.
AirSource® air purification systems clean
indoor air more thoroughly than other
popular purifiers, thanks to a patent-pending
combination of technologies. What’s more,
AirSource products treat a wide variety of
indoor environments—from home to auto
to workplace.
A complete technology that
simulates nature.
In partnership with RGF, Inc., the AirSource
Division of Shaklee developed air purification
products for indoor air environments ranging
from the home to the office to your hotel
room, providing the first filterless solution to
combine Photohydroionization™* and
Electron Generation.This patent-pending
combination dramatically reduces all three of
the major indoor air pollutants—particulates,
microbials, and gases.
And it works! The technology used by
AirSource closely simulates the way nature
cleans the air after a rainstorm. And it’s backed
by several years of testing, including testing by
an independent, third-party laboratory.
A UNIQUELY EFFECTIVE COMBINATION OF TECHNOLOGIES
Photohydroionization™ is driven by energy from a UV (ultra-violet) lamp
interacting with the Tri-metallic Catalyst and moisture in the air. This forms superoxide ions and hydroperoxide radicals to suppress bacteria and mold growth and prevent mold germination while reducing airborne mold spores, gases, and odors.
Electron Generation uses a dialectric chamber to produce an electrostatic field and electrons that fasten on to positively charged particles in the air. These particles become neutrally charged, adhere together, grow heavier, and drop down out of normal breathing space where they can be vacuumed or cleaned up. Electron Generation reduces particulates such as dander, pollen, and dust without the use of a filter. Because the technology is not limited to cleaning only the air that passes through the filter, it can clean up
to 3,000 square feet. People notice the difference in about 72 hours.
A record of safety.
AirSource products provide the safety
families want. The UV light component in an
AirSource 3000 home unit is safe and effective.
Remember, too, that AirSource products
are not ozone generators. As a byproduct of
the purification process, the amount of ozone
released by the Photohydroionization™*
process has been tested by a third-party and
is well below EPA-recommended levels of
0.05 parts per million.
